CVEA is an Ontario based Not-for-Profit whose Mission Statement declares:
"CVEA promotes the open and fair trade of motor vehicles for export from Canada while advocating and collaborating with industry partners and government agencies for proper market controls to protect the interests of all Canadians."
At its inception, the CVEA adopted the following Corporate Summary:
“To establish, maintain, and operate an organization of motor vehicle importers and exporters and those interested in the import and export of motor vehicles, which will:
Educate and inform motor vehicle exporters and those interested in the import and export of motor vehicles of current legal, regulatory, tax, and other issues concerning the import and export of motor vehicles;
Participate in public relations work in furthering the interests of motor vehicle importers and exporters as such interests relate to legal, regulatory, tax, and other issues concerning the import and export of motor vehicles.”
